Adding small storage shelves to my Toyota motorhome.
Tired of looking for your keys? Small 4 by 6 inch shelves add greatly to the convience factor in my Toyota motorhome. One problem we all experience is where to store our wallet or our keys at night. My Dolphin Toyota motorhome did not have any good place to keep small items that I would want to keep track off easily. I built some small storage shelves out of 1/8 inch Luann paneling that I purchased at Home Depot. A 2-foot by 2-foot piece was only a few dollars. The design is basically an open top box with one side, the back, twice as high as the front side. This allows for easy mounting on wall of the motorhome. I placed one of these shelves at each end of the beds. They turned out to be very handy to keep items that you want to access during the night or in the morning upon arising in the Toyota motorhome.
